How to recognize the symptoms of acid reflux?

The most common symptoms of acid reflux in adults: abdominal pain and discomfort (especially after a meal), bad breath, bitter taste in the mouth, excessive salivation, and difficulty sleeping.

People with acid reflux can also develop apnea, a sleep disorder result from respiratory failure. You may also become nauseous when undergoing an attack of acid reflux. It can be a mild sensation or severe, sometimes causing you to regurgitate the liquids irritating your esophagus back into your mouth.

Acid reflux symptoms are having asthma, chest pain, heart burn- a burning sensation from the heart towards the neck, difficulty in swallowing, hoarseness, and sometimes regurgitation or bringing food back up into the mouth. Majority cases of it are harmless, but we also have to be cautious because our esophagus might get scarred and it might increase the risk of having cancer. Some of the things that might trigger acid flux are bad eating habits and pregnancy, smoking, and drinking alcohol. I suggest that if the burning sensation is already too much and if your difficulty to swallow is getting worse, you better consult a doctor.
